6 Month Finally at 6 month. I just want to point out something before I start talking about my current pictures. I just want to let you guys know my pre-op pictures in this blog doens't look too bad except for the temples but actually it's pretty bad through out the center. I took some really bad photo at that time. I will post a better pre-op picture in month 12. Anyway, how am I doing? I'm doing alright. The two temples are still very sparse and hair line isn't quite there yet. It is now safe to say that I am extremely a slow grower. I see and feel little hair growing out but it feels like it's frozen! Like I said before, I'm not worry about how it's thin now, I'm just worry that my some of the gaps might not fill in. Can it still grow in at this month? Is it even still possible? I can say that I'm much more happier than pre-op but I definitely still have to wear a hat because I do still feel insecure. Sometimes I apply dermatch and all I can say is.. this product works extremely well and much better than toppik. I do see a little potential in this HT if everything that I see grows out longer and thicker, Only the right side isn't looking so good =\ Photos look kind of bad cause I use FLASH (gives every little detail) but from a far when you look at me, It's not so bad. BTW, some photos is wet and some is a little dry, I can't remember. I took a few. When I zoom in on these pictures, the good news is. I still see new hair popping out, the bad news is.. will it pop out on the non growing area. That is the question. I forgot to mention. I went to get a haircut last week and my barbra haven't seen me for about 7 months and she didn't noticed I had a HT and couldn't find the scar.
5 Month Sorry, these pictures were taking probably a week and a half ago, don't have time right now but the hair line is quite not there yet. I'm quite happy with how things are going except for two things but I'll discuss it with Dr Rahal team about it and see whats their opinion on it. Pictures are a bit deceiving. I'll try to upload better view later. Also, planning not to shave my head from now on.
4 Month Hello everyone! Finally hit the 4 month mark. I must say I look way better than pre op and I'm happy about that but I'm still not satisfy yet. I'm not worry about the density atm but I'm worry about how so little new hair is popping out. I know I'm still in the early stages though. I just hope this HT is not a failure, I wouldn't want to get another HT too soon and dissapear from my friends for another few months. What makes me stay extremely calm is that Dr Rahal team is still keeping in touch with me(via phone). Thank you guys! =) Still a lot of space at the temple area. The Left side is growing in much better than the right side. All picture has flash in them. Any comments would be nice.
3 Month Comparing to others, I'm wayyy behind at 3 month. I honestly expected more growth at this stage. I feel like this HT won't turn out well because of the number of grafts I had. I wanted more but Dr Rahal said it should be fine so I went a head and listen to him. The last two photo seems like a lot of hair is growing but I used my camera and took a macro picture so most of the hair you're seeing are "peach fuzz" =( I'll just have to wait and see.
2 Month Shaved to #1 clip exactly at 1.5 month.
1 Month How am I feeling? To be honest, I feel a little bit nervous. I looked at other people 1 month and they all have pretty much redness at the recipient area but mine looks like it heal a little to fast? Normal? Also I feel like I'm more bald than pre op. I'm not going to take any more picture of the donar area because it pretty much looks normal, I just need to cut my hair at the right lenght. There's no flash in the first 3 pictures. Next update might be around 1 and a half month or maybe 2. Not sure yet.
Day 14 Still got a big chunk of scabs, it is normal? Next update will be Day 21
Day 7 That was the longest one week ever! To be honest, it feels sooooo good to have a hair line. I already look much younger, hope it grows out nice. Next update will be Day 14.
Day 2 So far, everything went well! Dr rahal and his team are truly amazing. Now all I gotta do is wait! =D
