Started noticing hair loss in my late teens, certain about it around 20.

Propecia and Rogaine on and off since 21.  Stopped both medications about 6 months before transplant. 


My Surgical Treatments to Date

1 HT (strip procedure) with Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Southern California.  2710 grafts.

Resumed Propecia and Rogaine around the same time as my HT procedure.

propecia and rogaine combo has worked well.  but when i quit, i had catch-up hairloss like crazy.

I have MUCH more confidence in daily interactions and in myself in general.

If you are on the fence with hair transplant, be bold and go for it.  I used to always put it off due to various fears or stigmata... when I was at a low point in my life, I just decided to overcome those fears that held me back from hair transplant, and just DID IT.  I am so happy I did.

6 months follow up Appointment Hi All, I just had my 6 month follow-up last week with Dr. Mohebi.  He was impressed with the results. The pics are before a much-needed hair-cut.. so the sides are a little too puffy and there is no style (gel) to my hair.  I asked the doc if we could fill in the area above my forehead in the future.. he initially joked that I am getting too greedy and should be happy with these results but if I really want to we can add 1000 grafts to the above-forehead area (that would help me style my hair better) and add about 800-100 to my crown.  I may do that in a couple years when I see how the hair loss progresses. My other concern is that my hairline may be too high (our goal was for a mature hairline, which it is).. but I think it is OK and consistent with my age (I am 31) and I am afraid it will look bad if I go too low.. I don't want to mess up the way it is now by being to greedy... Do you think I should bring it lower?
