I started to lose my hair at about age 25. It has bothered me for quite some time. Finally, at age 38, I decided that it was time to do somthing about it. After many years of research and going back and fourth, I took the leap of faith.
My Surgical Treatments to Date
Procedure # 1: October 14, 2010 with Dr. Rahal consisting of 5229 grafts (543 ones, 2752 twos, 1839 threes, and 95 fours which is 11944 hairs). Grafts placed at the front third, Midscalp and crown laterals.
Procedure # 2: August 6, 2013 with Dr. Rahal consisting of 2642 grafts. Grafts placed mostly in the crown with only a few used to tweak temple corners.

The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.
