This hair restoration patient is a 52 year old gentleman with a class 4 vertex hair loss pattern. Previously had transplants 12 years ago by another clinic where they supposedly did 800 grafts that were disbursed throughout his entire scalp. He came to us with the expectation of having a very conservative hairline with temple recession and adding more density to mid area and crown. We did hair transplant surgery consisting of 2,640 grafts. 1241 singles and 1399 doubles for a total of 4.039 hairs.

In stage 4A, a person will not experience a bald spot on the back of their head, but they will instead lose the dips in their hairline and have a deeper “U” shape when viewed from above.
