"What keeps me interested in the surgery part is probably trying each time I do surgery, to do surgery better. I believe it's really an art. Being a repetitive procedure, you have to keep challenging yourself in order to stay interested. So for me, every new surgery is a challenge and I try to improve constantly. The best part is when the patients come back and though you've done a small cosmetic procedure for them, but you've made a huge impact on their life and on their emotional well being and quality of life. Some people feel they can be a lot more free and open and outgoing when they're not so self conscious about a part of their body, like their hair loss."
