This patient stopped in recently for a Proscar refill and we took the opportunity to take some photos. He was originally classified as a Norwood Class 4 DPA (diffused pattern alopecia).
This is yet another example of how proper recipient site preparation can allow us to perform hair transplant surgery safely on patients with diffused loss. He was prescribed Proscar before surgery and 5480 grafts were taken in one procedure. The result you see below is over six years postoperative..
