This patient in his early 50 was presented to Dr. Ron Shapiro for his hair restoration options. He had good laxity and a graft to haie ratio. Hair transplant surgery was performed using 3705 grafts with 7857 hairs to produce the following results at six months postoperative.
Norwood stage 5
Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
