From the "old days", this 50 year old man shows 9 year follow-up after 6 hair transplant sessions of FUT. None of his original hair remains. A total of 684 1's, 3221 2's, 945 3's and 68 4's for a total of 4918 grafts and 10233 hairs.

The two areas of hair loss are larger than in stage 4. They are still separated, but the band of hair between them is narrower and sparser. There is significant hair loss on the top of the scalp (the vertex).
