A 40 year old Asian male with androgenetic alopecia class V, he has receding hair line and moderately thinning hair from top to the crown. The balding areas measured approximately 190 square centimeters. He had one session of hair transplant (FUT) done with 581 one-hair grafts, 1,719 two-hairs graft, 351 three-hairs grafts, and 415 four-hairs graft. The total number of grafts is 3,066 (6,732 hairs). He started using 1 mg of oral finasteride daily since the operation. He returned for the follow up ten months post op and happy with the result. He plans to return for more graft at crown.

Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
