This 57-year-old gentleman presented to our office in late February 2011 for a 2189 FU session. He returned for a follow-up earlier this month (9.5 months post-operatively) enjoying his soft new hairline that framed his face in a more youthful fashion. He, as a result, is no longer automatically cast as bald Santa this year, but rather may now play one of the more youthful elves in holiday performances! Donor scar images are also included.

Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
