Hair restoration surgery before and after result images with 3995 grafts

Procedure detail

A FUE performed on a 33 year old European male with:
- NW IV- beg. V Class T
- Donor density of ~84 - 88 FU/cm2 in the occipital donor region and ~72-76 FU/cm2 in the temporal donor regions
- Hair diameter of ~56-60 microns

Treatment plan:

- A FUE to restore the hairline, central core and bridge with medium density.

Performed procedure (June 23rd & 24th, 2014):

Follicular Unit Extraction performed on 2 surgery days:

* 435 single hair FU
* 2989 double hair FU
* 571 triple hair FU

Total number of follicular units on 2 consecutive days: 3995 FU

Extraction performed with a 0.85mm FUE punch with CIT Manual Punch Handle. No microscopic preparation of the follicular unit grafts (FUE);
Parallel incisions (single, double and triple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.75mm – 0.95mm).

A FUE has been performed, being the explicit wish of the patient to be able to harvest as much follicular units as possible in only one procedure.
