"I make sure the patient is well educated on the subject. I try to avoid seeing anybody who's not even read about it and says OK, I'm here, tell me about it. There's so much to say. And there's so many different factors that I've mentioned that go into a great hair transplant. It's difficult to convey in an hour of consultation. So I try to make sure my own website is as detailed as possible. I encourage them to read other people's websites and certainly independent websites. Once they've read everything, and then come in and ask them questions about themselves in particular. I usually show them various scenarios, before and after hair transplant photos and numbers of grafts. And even maybe provide them with patients of mine, there's quite a few of them, to talk to this patient and even meet them in person. People do this because they're enthusiastic about it..."
